A Team That Eats Together Stays Together

Isnt it nice to have a once in a while get together. A once in a while gathering of everyone to celebrate and to rejoice the teams success over the past few months.

As we may all agree there is no such thing as a perfect team but there is what we call team spirit and the sense of togetherness. A place where you could be accepted for what you have and what you got to offer. A place where all of your strength and weakness will come together to give a clearer picture creating a perfect scene to the story of your team.

That despite the misunderstanding, unparallel differences, and uni-cultural upbringing gives a perfect color to battle it out in a corporate battle field.

Behind all these is one strong individual keeping the harmony, leading the pack, understanding each personality planning and executing it all inorder for her ship to move forward to a brighter and better tomorrow. This is TEAM MARIE’s ship sailing and battling it out overcoming its waves to land on a shore by the end of its term with so much color. The crews experience during the voyage will surely be the leaders trophy decorating her ship to inspire her next crew.

TEAM MARIE VISITS SAMBO KOJIN

The team visited Sambo Kojin at SM Southmall; an eat all you can Restaurant who speciallizes in Korean and Japanese cuisine. I personally love Asian Cuisine and so the restaurant for me is heaven. It gives me 2 different kinds of cuizine that I love most especially Korean foods.

I love the cleanliness of the restaurant its definitely well maintained one. I also love how they group the food so its easier for me to look for the things I wanted to it.

I love thier shakes but the ice cream is where I felt in love with. I cant stop eating their ice cream its one of their must try dessert! I also love their crepes.

Into The Dark

Hello darkness, my old friend

I’ve come to talk with you again

Left its seeds while I was sleeping

Am sure most have heard this song played on a Sunday in an FM STATION or sung by your father or grand father while they are drinking. It was a song popularized by singers carfted to its perfection and gave meaning in many different forms but I guess mostly by heartbroken.Have you imagine or experienced where you are in the middle of doing something and suddenly you felt anxious. Fear is consuming you without you knowing where it is coming from. You felt helpless but you dont know why. You felt tired eventhough you just woke up from bed. You want to be left alone in the dark. You want to be somewhere where no one can see you.You tried so hard to overcome but you are at a lost. You tried to fight back but you dont know why you needed to.Its all in the mind as they say. But what if your mind doesnt cooperate. What if its a mental battle you wanted to win but you simple couldnt. You were caught in a landmine ready to explode and they are everywhere.Who could understand you when you yourself doesnt know where to start. You wanted to ask yourself a question but you dont know what to ask nor an answer to it.How could you understand them when you can’t understand yourself.Alot of times; they were told they have the weakest fighting spirit. They have the weakest heart and the weakest of everything. Many times they are forgotten and left alone figuring out how to escape from the unknown darkness.They only see the facade because they never show their deepest scars. Because there are too many scars already they’ve created a world of fallacies and fantasies to recharge and to freshen up to heal their wounds and to forget their hardest battle.Sadly because of conjugation from falacies and fantasies and reality they’ve found themselves lost in transit. They’ll find comfort from the pills to eradicate their anxiety. The gift of science for the people like them. Their hiding ground to keep their mind at ease. To knock them off and to stop their brain from and to bring them to a comfortable state of mind. Peacefully breathing. From one pill to four.They needed that friend who doesnt tell them to fight the mind battle. To think of other things. To forget and to move aside. They needed a friend simply to hug them even without a word to comfort them. That one hug sparks a light until the time they could finally walk into the realms of reality. The hug is their armour againts the canon and arrows of life.

The Weakest Link

“You are only as strong as your weakest link.” True! You are as strong as your weakest part. We all have that strength and we all have that weaknesses and the axiom suggest two things: to work on our strength but this is do not deny our weaknesses because this completes the story of who we are. Our weaknesses and strength tells us who we are.Since its my day off, I am browsing the web and came across the story of a farmer, the little boy and the puppies that is truly inspiring. I found myself reflecting on the story where I could relate so much.

A farmer had some puppies he needed to sell. He painted a sign advertising the 4 pups and set about nailing it to a post on the edge of his yard.

As he was driving the last nail into the post, he felt tug on his overalls.

He looked down into the eyes of a little boy.

“Mister,” he said, “I want to buy one of your puppies.”

“Well,” said the farmer, as he rubbed the sweat of the back of his neck, “these puppies come from fine parents and cost a good deal of money.”

The boy dropped his head for a moment. Then reaching deep into his pocket, he pulled out a handful of change and held it up to the farmer. “I’ve got thirty-nine cents. Is that enough to take a look?”

“Sure,” said the farmer. And with that he let out a whistle. “Here Dolly!” he called.

Out from the doghouse and down ramp ran Dolly followed by four little balls of fur.

The little boy pressed his face against the chain link fence. His eyes danced with delight.

As the dogs made their way to the fence, the little boy noticed something else stirring inside the doghouse.

Slowly another little ball appeared, this one noticeably smaller.

Down the ramp it slid. Then in an awkward manner, the little pup began hobbling toward the others, doing its best to catch up….

“I want that one,” the little boy said, pointing to the runt.

The farmer knelt down at the boy’s side and said, “Son, you don’t want that puppy. He will never be able to run and play with you like these other dogs would.”

With that the little boy stepped back from the fence, reached down, and began rolling up one leg of his trousers. In doing so he revealed a steel brace running down both sides of his leg attaching itself to a specially made shoe.

Looking back up at the farmer, he said, “You see sir, I don’t run too well myself, and he will need someone who understands.”

With tears in his eyes, the farmer reached down and picked up the little pup. Holding it carefully he handed it to the little boy.

“How much?” asked the little boy.

“No charge,” answered the farmer, “There’s no charge for love.”

Yes we have our limitations as a person but just like the boy in the story we can turn around this weaknesses and limitation to inspire others to let them know that someone understands them. Our weakness could be our tool to face the future.

Quotes That Inspires Me

There will always be time when we reach our breaking points. The times when we are about to give up or the times when we feel alone. And sometimes, a hug or a simple words of encouragement is what we needed to push us further and to keep us going.

Problems come and when they come it feels like it takes forever. However, when you look back there were many storms that you have finally surpassed. Storms don’t last forever.

They say, time heals all wounds. That’s what I believe in. Time gives each of us the ability to heal and recuperate from the hurts, frustration, heart breaks and even realization of the things we have done wrong. Time is a powerful tool for you to adopt and grow.

We always have that person in one way or the other that no matter what happens, even though we don’t see them everyday or talk to them we never seem to grow apart. We always have that connection that bind you together. So when I am super down and weary I know I have a friend that no matter what happens I know my friend is cheering me up and supporting me all the way.

Men’s Rainy Days Fashion Wear

Its August and rainy season has begun in the Philippines. So here are my favorites and must haves this rainy season! And tis the season to be cozy! Boots, jackets, coats, long sleeve shirts, hoodies are in season!

Being in a tropical country like the Philippines, I get so comfortable with my usual summer outfits. But when the rainy season kicks in I usually ditch out my summer outfits, shorts and sleeveless shirts and pull out my jackets and coats to still be in fashion, looking good despite the bed weathers.

So here are some of my favorites this rainy season!

And when it rains it definitely pours! Surely you don’t want to be out of style and soaking wet while at work. So let’s get dressed up comfortable going to work!

On my day off I happen to cross a video in Youtube about Empath. With how they describe Empath’s I had a strong feeling that I have some of the characteristics being describe in the video.
